🗞 The George Harrison of cargo ships
Plus, a tiny home community in Lower Sackville, and Dal puts a damper on HoCo.
Good morning!
It looks like COVID is back in a lot of people’s inner circles according to the results of yesterday’s poll: Over 35% of you know someone who’s suffered a bout of the disease recently. (Check out full poll results below.)
With masking being brought back into the healthcare sector today, it’s easy to speculate whether other restrictions will be brought back into the mix as we move deeper into the fall and winter season.
Stay safe and healthy out there folks.

EDUCATION
Did Dal just make HoCo uncool?
Last weekend, the university-sponsored little cousin to the real HoCo party saw cops, not students, on Jennings Street.
Perhaps that’s because this year, for the first time, there were two HoCo weekends: the one hosted by Dalhousie in an effort to mitigate illegal street parties that have been a problem since 2017, and an illegal street party led by students.
Dal planned their on-campus celebration during the Thanksgiving long weekend, when many students are away. While officially dubbed “HoCo” by the university, students instead partied-like-HoCo the week prior, on Sunday Oct. 1, in what they named “FoCo”—fake homecoming.
