🗞️Fundraiser for change
Plus, rescue crews are calling for change, power outage in HRM and landlords say that Halifax Water rate hike will drive up rent.
Good morning!
How’s it going, Halifax?
I am still overwhelmed by the support from the last issue, hope I live up to your expectations.
A Blue Jay just fluttered by and is perched outside my window. If that doesn't mean that spring is here, then I don’t know what is!
Grab a blanket and your picnic basket and make your way to the Public Garden. It is a super pretty day to be outside. On the way, perhaps stop at E-Joy Foodmart and grab some snacks as you work, relax, or just catch some sun.
Remember to get your tickets for this Saturday’s musical fundraiser, Gimmie Shelter. The proceeds will go to Adsum for Women and Children.
XOXO
Warren

Nova Scotia’s foremost female vocalists are coming together for Gimme Shelter, a benefit concert on May 17 in Halifax that will raise funds for the Adsum for Women and Children charity.
Funds raised will support Adsum’s ongoing mission to eradicate housing insecurity for at-risk women, families, and those suffering gender-based discrimination.
The Gimme Shelter concert will be held at 7 pm on Saturday, May 17, at Paul O’Regan Hall at the Halifax Central Library.
Tickets are $25, $50, or $100–whatever you can afford–and can be purchased online or in person before the concert while tickets are available.
