Good morning!

Anyone remember that show Supermarket Sweep? For those who don’t/are youthful, it was a game show where teams dashed around the grocery store trying to grab as many high price items as possible within a certain time frame.

This show was seminal in my development—so was Fun House (iykyk)—because it was on at lunchtime and I always dreamed of being on it while sipping my alligator soup.

But as an adult, my dream version of Supermarket Sweep would be called Sephora Sweep, in which I dash around and collect as many pore minimizing lotions, eye-lifting concealers, brow pencils and lip stains as I could carry.

And then I wake up today to find that two people were LIVING MY DREAM! They did end up getting caught which is a bummer, but I bet it still felt incredible. Sigh.

A man and woman are facing charges after they allegedly stole more than $10K worth of products from three Sephora stores in the Halifax area. Police determined the same duo were suspects in two other thefts at the Sephora stores in Dartmouth Crossing on Monday and Mic Mac Mall on Sunday.

This Gen Z Bonnie and Clyde vibe is one I could totally be into. I’ve had my nose on this one Prada perfume at Sephora for months and now I’m like… could I, you know? They’re probably on high alert right now, but maybe when the heat dies down I’ll cash in my 5-fingered discount.

If I get caught, I’ll just tell the police it’s a fun game that they just don’t understand like this Florida woman (it’s always a Florida woman) did after ripping off Wal-Mart:

I’m obsessed with the confidence of “Yeah, that was me”. And this would be me… minus the crystal meth. Anymore.
