🗓️ Things To Do
Looking for something to do this week? Check out these Coast picks:
🗓 Patrizia Berdkan - Upside Down & Inside Out: The show plays with the familiar—a house, a tree, a landscape—but bends the rules. These abstract, colourful paintings turn tradition on its head, sometimes quite literally. Homes float, shift, and defy gravity, their bold forms infused with the energy of mid-century modern design and the neon glow of the ‘80s. Some pieces pulse with electric colour, while others invite quiet curiosity. And since the works can be flipped, every perspective is the right one. | May 6-27 |
🗓 Halifax ComedyFest: With stages around the city featuring comedians from across North America, Halifax ComedyFest is the funniest 4 days of the year! Shows vary from the free Laugh at Lunch event at Halifax Central Library to our hilarious pub shows to our laughter-filled galas! | May 7-10 |
🗓 The East Pointers: JUNO Award-winning PEI folk band The East Pointers are musical trailblazers, known for their energetic, eclectic blend of traditional Celtic music with modern folk, pop, and dance. Now, they make their orchestral debut with Symphony Nova Scotia in an innovative fusion of rich vocal harmonies, furious energy and groundbreaking orchestral arrangements. | May 9 and 10 | 7:30pm | From $74 |
