Hello Coast family,

If you follow me over on the socials, you've heard the news by now. But for the rest of you, I'm sad to announce that I did not make it into the finals of the Super Mom competition.

Voting in the semi-final round closed at 11pm PST on Thursday night and at 10:58pm I was sitting pretty in first place, just waiting for the minutes to tick by to my triumphant victory and then BAM, someone snatched my win at the last minute.

Sigh.

Instagram post

This is, however, a blessing and a curse because although we lost, you guys never have to hear about it again or be psychologically manipulated into voting via adorable baby baiting. That's not to say I will not employ this tactic in the future, but for now you are safe.

Thank you. Thank you for rooting, voting, donating, supporting, messaging, and just generally loving Poppy and I. As I'm finishing up my may leave, I feel refreshed (ish) and excited to get back to writing for you guys. You are the best.

Until then...

Love and light,

- Jules
