The Wanderer Grounds podcast: Dan Nimick is making a case for Defensive Player of the Year

📸 Canadian Premier League

What if we told you the next big Canadian men’s national team prospect was playing his first year of pro soccer in Halifax? Better still, what if we told you that same defender was born in Labrador?

It is a testament to Dan Nimick’s wünderseason with the Wanderers that the English-Canadian centre-back who spent his college years in Western Michigan has been catching the eye of front offices in both Major League Soccer and overseas.

On this week’s Wanderer Grounds episode, Coast reporters Matt Stickland and Martin Bauman discuss Nimick’s stellar performance en route to a 3-0 Wanderers win and debate how high Halifax can finish come playoff time.
